The challenge aims to provide sustainable and healthy food for all. This can be achieved by improving the water used in irrigation and watering crops. This project aims to produce a clean, sustainable and available source of clean water ready for irrigation. It depends on thePurification of irrigation drainage water by organic wastes depends on the main contents of these wastes, by using 4 stages: ceramic water filter, calcinated eggshells, seashells, and activated carbon. the water passes through the 4 stages and it is now filtered.As a result, the bio-purifier project managed to yield the determined design requirements: it managed to provide clean water and safe for irrigation of any type of crops. By yielding a high efficient purification method that is highly safe, without any by-products that can cause a health threat. This project can be excreted all over Egypt or other countries and for any type of crop.bio-purifier method of purification has shown a success in purifying adequate agricultural drainage water according to the domestic demand. In addition, it can be constructed easily, doesn’t need an expert and not dangerous in usage or construction. From another point of view, the method of purification depends completely on wastes, which proves that bio-purifier solves more than the water and food crisis. and according to chemical equations of purification, the purification method doesn’t produce harmful by-products.

The irrigation wastewater contributes to many problems like health risks. This water contains an extreme amount of mercury in addition to heavy metals that cause several diseases. according to the analyzed water sample after treatment, mercury was the highest concentrated metal, and this project managed to decreases this high concentration to reach the limit allowed by Egyptian law no. 48 (1992) for water usage of agriculture. This treated water was used to plant beans and it managed to produce healthy crop yield. By applying this project on a large scale, a healthy food yield will be obtained in addition to recycling wastes and solving wastewater crisis.
