The best solution to climate change is helping everyone better access to housing and by this reducing the expansion into places that should have green covers by the low income earners who wish to own houses of their own. Since our urban centers are the targets we can make the urban centers build up instead of sideways this is especially so with developing countries which as we all know are the places where more trees are cut down and green scapes are removed to build accommodation. By building up even especially in developing countries, more spaces can be created in the urban centers without necessarily having to cover everything with buildings because there will be space to plant more trees and more people can live in cleaner environments that have been created, more waste can be more easily collected for disposal and more necessary things like potable water, it will create access to food to customers as well as vendors, electricity can be easily shared because of the clustering.
It is my belief that this model can work very efficiently and wish to start with Lagos, Nigeria because the landscape of the city is occupied but not yet well utilized and hopefully take the model around the world.
