There is a saying in my hometown that says "do not give me fish, only teach me how to fish". City Light Tech is an organisation that aims to train people (primarily primary and secondary school students, and also local market traders) in ICT so as to be able to apply the knowledge to their personal lives and businesses.
In the area I stay, there are little or no people who know how to use the digital world to their advantage. If people get trained in the exciting world of digital, it would be easier for them to get their products out there to the world, minimizing stress, and effectively managing cost, and also develop their lives in the most appropriate way possible connecting to other people around the world.
City Light Tech is aimed at training at least 100 new people every 3 months, with the high possibility of increasing the total number of new trainees exponentially as we continue.
