Business Objectives Daval
Farm has simple objectives: provide
healthy and delicious tasting coffee that is pest free in the international
market while simultaneously leaving a minimal carbon footprint. In order to accomplish this, the farm plans
to:
Produce atleast 20 tones of coffee beans by Year 10 and have full-time income
when the farm is fully established.
In Year 2, Daval Farm plans to purchase an additional 9 acres so
as to make a total of 13 acre of land on which the coffee is growing.1.2 Daval Farm uses only natural and sustainable
farming methods, with few pesticides and
basically natural fertilizers. Natural foods and natural farming methods
leaves a smaller carbon footprint while simultaneously improves the health of
its customers and its local community.1.3

Buying from local farmers supports the local
economy
• Employing local people as care takers, in form of mulching the garden, coffee picking during the harvesting, carrying from the garden to the places where drying is done
• Empower the youth through setting up a demonstration farm for learning and research purposes and this would pump zeal and need to practice agriculture at different level of capacities.
• Provide the community with basic source of manure in form of coffee husks after hauling, which would boost the performance of soils in the region.
• Enable the local community enjoy the advantage of having a major farm that exports ,so they would as well taste the same advantages of producing for international markets ,in form of improved prices and after sale services
