Here in our country Uganda located in east African region bordered by kenya and Tanzania. We have experience different kind of change in our climate which has caused worry within the society about whats happening and why its happening. It has become so alarming to the society because there has been total change in the way things used to happen. Before , the society could easily predict the months where rainfall would be much and months where it would be so hot. This even helped farmers to simply predict the seasons without having to rely so much on deep research done by agricultural ministry. Personally , i tried to do my simple research to find out why this is happening. I found out the number one problem is still us the society . We have caused this , through practicing several things like deforestation. First of all, Uganda is one of the country where electricity has reached many parts of the country and even those where its. Its expensive per unit. This has made market demand for charcoal to go high to those that can afford charcoal especially in towns and those that can't to use fire woods especially in villages. These two has prompted some people to seek charcoal burning as a way of survival. To make matters worse. When these trees are cut down. No attempt is made to replant them.
I was thinking about a possible solution which actually i think mostly goes back to our government to teach people about the dangers of deforestation and put up restrictions and control this activity so that whoever practices it should endeavor to replant more trees, as well. The government should try more to distribute electricity to more different areas and as well making it more affordable so as to give the society more options they can use to cook or even promote use of gas.
