With the high rate of youth restiveness arising from youth unemployment and poverty sometimes linked to conflict and natural disasters, the project aims to train young farmers and environmentalists from communities facing or coming out of conflicts and/or natural disasters: Northern Nigeria (Abuja, Kaduna, Benue and Kogi) and Southern Nigeria (Anambra, Enugu, Rivers and Imo) on Climate Resilience and Food Security. The trained youth will become Climate Resilience Ambassadors in their communities and encouraged to replicate the training and mentor their peers for greater project impact while managing their farms and cooperatives. Equal opportunities will be given to the youth from the 8 states regardless of their gender, age, class or disability.
