THE PROBLEM
In Kampala City, there are so many businesses that offer a variety of products and services that consumers are not aware of because of underdevelopment of basic infrastructure. Therefore I believe that in the world of trade and business, consumers should be able to easily access products and services which is not the case in Kampala as consumers have to spend time and resources looking for products and services. For example if I want to buy a lace dress in downtown Kampala, I don’t know exactly where to get it from so I will dedicate time going from shop to shop looking for that specific dress. This is what a lot of Ugandans do and I believe a solution is required to directly connect consumers to businesses to save consumers time and money and bring businesses more customers and sales.
THE SOLUTION
The solution is to connect consumers directly to businesses using an app. In this app, the different businesses will register their products or services, prices, location as well as the option to deliver and customers will use the app to order or find exactly what they are looking for in the shortest time possible and compare prices, products and services of the different providers before they make a decision. This app will ensure that consumers do not spend so much time and money looking for what they require especially for places that are complex and complicated like downtown Kampala, Owino market and Nakawa Market among others.
