Puerto Rico and United States produce 110 million tons of industrial waste yearly. In Latinoamérica, there are 55 million tones yearly. And 36 billion tones yearly in all of the world; 12.7kg of industrial waste per capita is produced daily! Andonly 13.5% of these are recycled.
It is a time bomb buried underground waiting to explode!
With our technology, under the
-Model of Circular Economy
we will change the way we perceive the waste. We
will turn the landfills into inexhaustible banks of free raw material and
revalue waste, generating impact in various areas: * Huge improvement of soil
and water. * New sources of employment and alternative income, without harming
those that currently exist. * We will reduce the extractive mineral demand, so
the exploitation of soils will decrease and with it, will decrease CO2
emissions too.
The model works like this: 1) We design, develop and sell a treatment plant, adapted to the size and priorities of the Landfill, to recover the valuable metals contained in the industrial waste than the landfill receives. (average plant price: 1 million dollars). 2) We install the plant inside the landfill so that there is no need to generate CO2 emissions by transporting waste. 3) We operate the plant treating its waste under an exclusive contract for a period of 15 years, recovering and selling metals; such as copper, nickel, chromium, cobalt, lead, iron; or other toxic compounds such as chlorine, ammonium, etc., through this contract, is agreed that the Client (Landfill) will receive 15% of the sale of the recovered metals. Thus, the investment recovers in less than 3 years. 4) At the end of the contract, we deliver the plant, operation and sale of metals to our client and thereafter we will only charge 15% fee on sales for Technology Licensing. We will continue providing advice and maintenance.
