My solution addresses the problem by creating a direct solution.Open trade and market access have proven to be key drivers of economic growth and poverty reduction in countries at every level of development. My solution is to provide an option that supports both open trade and market access. My solution is to create a medium that links traders directly to customers/consumers. The thing is, with rapid growth of technology in the world and its application to solving world problems, i decided to apply the use of I.T and technology to improve the supply chain of markets and create a better livelihood for traders.
There is no trade without sales and there are no sales without customers willing to buy a product. And even with customers willing and ready to buy products, there are limitations one way or the other. These limitations are sometimes based on price ranges and for the traders, they're affected by poverty and face greater risks and barriers that limit their ability to benefit from the opportunities brought by trade. All these problems can be solved easily for both parties; the traders and customers. This is done by hosting a market base where traders are registered including the products they offer for sale. This market base is open to customers/consumers who are able to source through a list of markets for their products. The online option is equipped with a map of all areas where you have registered markets and a filter that allows you to set a price range of products you want to buy. This allows users find exactly what they are searching for on a larger scale in any location. This helps therural communitiesbecause they're exposed to an open market with lots of opportunities. My solution practically increases the scale at whichrural communities andtraders can operate and breaks down thebarriers that limit the ability of traders to benefit from the opportunities brought by trade.rural communities
