Evidence of the Community on littering was apparent before but s the transfer centre was established, the community got aware of the transfer center and littering became low in the community as the litter was also cleared by the help of Tiger Bricks Company hired to level the land
More participation of the community is now apparent as the people are now flocking towards the centre to place their litter in the form of recyclable waste. The Community now has got knowledge on Refuse, reduce and on recycling materials such as paper and plastic.
The community is now well acquainted with knowledge on preventing and protecting the environment from any kind of pollution.
Members from the community are now fully engaging themselves in protecting the environment. This is so because the 10 anti litter monitors from the community are carrying out campaigns in their neighbourhoods pertaining the transfer center as this is helping them a lot since most are now participating in creating a safe and sustainable environment which is the current initiative. More so, the people in the community also came up with an idea on creating another transfer center as this one is central. Hence they need it to be decentralized to all centers in Dzivareskwa as it is a big community.
