Sustainable Cereal Crops Farming on 1000 hectares of Arable Farmland With Poor Communities Families and Farmers. In this regards, the best way to start a successful living is to look inwards at what are the available resources to work with. As such, we personally have been practicing various cereal crops farming, of which we have been using as means of living.
Moreover, there is more than 25,000 hectares of arable farmland that combines these communities of poor farmers’ families not yet anest. However, the land is towards north of Oyo State, Saki town in Nigeria.
Consequently, diversification is needed into varieties of high breed crops like maize, cassava, sorghum, yam etc. etc. and some other protein and vitamins crops like soya bean, groundnut, melons, sweet potatoes, vegetables etc. etc. Including poultry farming, snail farming, fish farming, piggery farming etc. etc. Diversification in a way of, enlighten and educating our villagers on available varieties of farming system in a mechanized, modern technique.
This approach will help to meet up with the increasing number of our villagers. Then, leading to solving some of the lingering problems like: (a) Malnutrition and Deficiency Diseases in children and, (b) Balance diet in adult.
Malnutrition in children, this led to stunted growth of the young age children in these communities.
Balance diet. The physiological look of these people really call for quick attention, and intervention to assist and help to the capacity of whosoever comes across them. Hence, there is deficiency in their feeding diet style, in a way that, they take majorly carbohydrates food throughout the 365days of the year. Consequently leading to so many deficiency diseases in the communities like kwashiorkor photophobia, heartburn etc etc.
