Our community generates more than 10 tons of Waste on daily basis. This waste are usually deposited at a dump Site in Ilokun, Ado
Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. There is indiscriminate sorting of Plastic Waste for sales and burning of the remaining Waste. The most worrisome is the rate of Carbon emission from this dump site as a result of waste burning.Our innovative solution is a systematic collection of these community waste, process them through various waste processing plants and produced the following products:

1. Biogas for home cooking.

2. Organic Compost fertilizer for Sustainable Agriculture.

3. Nylon pellets for manufacturing industries.

4. Plastic flakes for recycling into other products.

We shall adopt 3-R principle of Reducing, Reusing and Recycling, incorporating economical technological solutions that optimally manage community waste in a friendly environmental and green manner.

The impact of this project on our environment, agriculture and socio-economic development of our community are:

Conservation and Protection of lives under Water from toxic accumulation of Plastics in the River.
