Electric vehicles (EVs) are an important part of meeting global goals on climate change. EV's are responsible for considerably lower emission over their lifetime than conventional (internal combustion engine) vehicles. One study fund that emissions from EVs have emissions up to 43% lower than conventional vehicle. Another detailed that "in all cases examined, electric vehicles have lower lifetime impact than those with combustion engines". Electric transport offers a major solution in cutting million of tons of greenhouse gas emission per year, as well as curbing transport related air and noise pollution. One study found that EV's have emission upto lower than the conventional vehicle.
