My solution addresses the problem of Marginalization,deprivation and economic challenge face by out of school teenage mothers in Sierra Leone.Many girls who dropped out of schools during Ebola outbreak and even after, faced tremendous challenges with their individual survival in those deprived and undeserved communities in Sierra Leone. Many who got pregnancies were not allowed to sit together with their colleagues and write the public tests, which would have taken them to other levels in their academic lives. As a result, they were left out without any provision which marked them as drop-out in their various communities. As part of our solution, this program envisages to register and enroll them into skills training centers with the requisite supports that will ensure their graduation with different type of skills and ensure that each establishes individual business enterprises at the end of the day.
Additionally, the solution proposes to establish structures of community stakeholders in the various communities that will serve as liaison between the training institutions and the trainees to ensure guarantee that the local communities are fully integrated and maintain the solution after the project cycle.
To ensure that these out of school teenage girls become business oriented,our solution will embark on general entrepreneurship training and coaching for the beneficiaries which will enable them become enterprise owners in a way that will ensure their economic security and individual sustainable growth and development.
more so, our solution aims to incorporate community engagement in a way that will educate communities about the rights and dignity of those out of school teenage girls, by further informing the stakeholder about their roles and responsibilities in keep girls in schools and securing their fundamental human rights.
Finally, we plan to provide motivational startup to all graduates at the end of the every set of sessions that will be backup with entrepreneurship coaching to strengthen their business development skills and pitches presentation for investors.
