The solution can address the challenge because it will involve production of briquette than can be use in houses to generate fire energy in cooking by using sawdust, damaged papers, raffia and grain chaffs . This items are available on our streets as refuse and therefore can be obtain freely. This can reduce the heaps of refuse on our streets.
The collection of this refuse on our streets is exposing human health to danger by spreading diseases and blockage of waterways and consequently during rainy season there is overflowing of water into towns and villages displacing so many every year
I believe when I started production of this briquettes, so many tons of this refuse will be recycled into the production process.
The attitude of our people is contributing factor on the negative impact of climate change on our environment. The laws that were established to deter people from cutting down trees are not being obeyed because of abject poverty that threw people into engaging in risky and illegal means of earning their livelihood. But i am optimistic that if briquettes can be produce on commercial quantity and at a cheaper price, the demand for firewood can be lessened and this shall reduce forestry destruction in return.
