Just like I mentioned in the first challenge, about creation of well equipped food hub.if the organization creates a food hub or storage system in the urban areas then they will also make provision of trucks or vans that will go to the rural areas and sign,inspect and pick up the farmer's farm produce.firstly,the farmers will have an association and everyone will be registered,then the organization will come in and take note of the association and give every farmer a name tag or number,they will also provide crates for the farmers,where they can put their harvested crops for sale and tag the crate with the farmers tag name or number.they will instruct the farmers to put the price they want their goods to be sold so it will be indicated on the crate.then the driver of the truck will take note and bring those goods to the food hub in urban areas where individuals, restaurants will come and make their purchase,but the organization can put a percentage on every farmer's produce in order to make their own gain and be able to pay their staff.all food will be well preserved and tested.after sales every farmer will receive their money in their various bank accounts or by cash.the head of the association will collect some money monthly from the farmers and give to the organization for purchase of gas or fuel for transportation. In addition,some farmers might refuse to give out their farm produce to the organization to sell for them,so in this case they can join the truck and do their own sale but every activity will be followed up.the picture I uploaded here shows how farmers that can't afford to buy trucks, transport their farm produce to the urban areas and regions in Nigeria.they pay the oil tanker drivers less for them to help them with transportation and this is not good.imagine if my solution were to be implemented,it will be safer,easier and there will be availability of food.sometimes it's even hard to find or buy some vegetables in the market because of this problems.another thing is,the organization can buy and rent out machines for farming to Farmers or sell but the payment will be installmental,this will also help the farmers to produce more food.they can also create an investment opportunity for individuals interested in investing in agriculture,that way the farmer and the investor will share profits based on percentage agreement for both sides.
