It is no longer news that the rate of youth unemployment in Nigeria has risen to it's highest, over 16 million Nigerians are currently unemployed with another 2 million more estimated to join the statistics (NBS 2018), there is the need to create more jobs in Nigeria, the fashion industry is estimated to worth over $2.4 trillion globally and Nigeria is estimated to worth &4.7 billion sharing just 1% of the total global worth,
This is a good mine that my team and I intend to help 1,000 young people get into, this way they will create job for themselves and at least 2 other young people in Ibadan and thus boost the economy at the same time.
Fash4dev is an initiative of Whoopy Yun Fashion House, the Initiative goal is to train 1,000 young but educated people who will employ minimum of 2 people thereby creating at least 3,000 jobs by 2024.
We don't intend to just train the young people but intend to fund them with a start up loan.
