About Solution

In 2016, the World Bank stated that around 2 billion people worldwide don’t use formal financial services and more than 50% of adults in the poorest households areunbanked. The unbanked population consists of adults who have no easy access to banks in their regions or who have developed a deep mistrust of the financial system.And most of the unbanked population are mostly in Africa,Tanzania included.

This project therefore aims to tackle the problem by specifacally focusing on the young generation.

The project is expected to achieve the following.

Increase financial inclusion among students in primary and secondary schools in eight district of Kagera region.

Specifically, the following outcomes are expected at the end of the project

A young generation which is financially literate

Young generation accessing and using financial services in their localities.

Improved financial decisions making among the youths.

I Increased saving behavior and saving skills among the youths.

Generally the project aims to achieve, increased financial inclusion in Tanzania leading to poverty reduction in the country.
