The concept of climate change is majorly caused by introduction of poisonous gas into the atmosphere,which in turn have adverse effect on the ozone layer,thus leading to depletion of the layers of the ozone.
The major causes of this depletion is the introduction of carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide, sulfuric gases e.t.c into the atmosphere.
The abundance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere result in temperature increase and decrease in oxygen level which in turn affect the respiration rate in plant and animal and the level of photosynthesis in plant would equally be affected.
When the depletion of the ozone layer occur,more of the cosmic Ray will be receive in the atmosphere which in turn leads to climatic changes.
The issue of climate change can be minimize by practicing floriculture.which is a branch of agriculture that deals with planting of flowers. The reason I suggested floriculture is that,in urban area there is high population density i.e most of the available land has actually being inhabited so there will be limited land in availability,in lieu of this people will avoid planting tree crop,then flower planting can be a perfect substitute.
Floriculture has the following environmental benefit
1-atmospheric purification:when more of carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere through series of human activity e.g Burning, smoking, respiration,carbon dioxide from industrial or car exhaust e.t.c it can be reduce through the process of photosynthesis,because plant make use of carbon dioxide in synthesising their food and more of oxygen will be release into the atmosphere which in turn preserve the ozone layer
2-landscape beautification: floriculture would equal beautify our environment through production of beautiful and eye appealing flowers.
I hope if floriculture could be adopted in urban area much of the atmospheric depletion activity effect could be reduce thus leading to climate preservation.
