We basically work In a small town called uzuwani in Nsukka area of Enugu state.Their major challenge is the Fulani herdsmen who destroy their crops and farmland.and the fact that they are peasant farmers who have no access to fertilizers pesticides high yielding seedlings fertilizers etc
Our focus is to provide security for their farmers while collaboratng with institute for conflict and crisis prevention to bring about a lasting solution to the farmers /herders clash which has brought low yields and low quality in crop production.
We are also focused on giving them great leadership .This we intend to do by gathering farmers according to what they farm .bringing together and having them in groups with their leaders or coordinators.For instance cassava farmers in the village form a group and then get those whom they trust to lead them thereby making it easier for them to access assistance from government individuals investors corporate organizations who have interest in what they farm.In Uzuwani .their farmers are mostly into yam cassava,pepper cucumber garden egg.Garden egg has a very high market since the whole of South south and south East buy garden egg from them
We also source off takers who can buy their product consistently at a very good price.One of the things we also intend to focus on is to get investors especially individuals who can invest their money in the farming process and after the farming tenure ,the return on investment is shared between the farmers the investors and the connectors.Basically to get this done effectively we intend to insure the farmland and the crop itself against any form of eventuality.This safeguards the investors money and also assist the farmer bounce back even after any disaster
We work in tandem with land owners to provide lands to foreign investors who wants to come in and invest.Such foreign investors request for very large size of land .Which ranges from 500 hectares of land to over 10,000 hectares of land.
Theseforeign investors come in with huge cash to invest in plantation, processing packaging e t c.In this case the huge challenge of unemployment is solved since over 2000 persons and employed,casual and real workers included.The foreigners also creates access roads because of nearness to market and easy access to places.Their corporate Social responsibility include building schools churches Estate homes for workers small business in the estate and within the community which will service the plantation and the processing plant.
