This initiative was born out of the frustration of food waste and the very unhealthy condition in which fresh food is sold in the various market places in Cameroon and how this foodstuff makes its way to the homes and dinner tables. The amount of food waste from our recent survey of more than 15,000 household’s show that about 40% of all food item bought in the market for consumption end up as trash. Increasing, younger populations are turning to eat from restaurants or depend on restaurants for their daily meal, partly because of their busy lifestyles but more importantly because they do not have the basic skills it takes to prepare a decent meal. We are developing a solution that will a value chain that will not only benefit households but more importantly local farmers. Our solution strikes right at the core of the challenge, in providingequitable and affordable access to healthy, low carbon food in cities,Create a more efficient supply chains and reduce food loss and waste, reducing hunger and malnutrition.We, therefore, believe that there is an opportunity for “quick healthy and clean food delivery” due to the following reasons:
• Healthy food helps maintain a youthful appearance, which is becoming a social value;
• Healthy eating contributes to maintaining and promoting health and helps prevent chronic diseases;
• Healthy food is crucial in planning the future health of offspring and progeny;
• Healthy food may also be tasty and available;
• Signs that indicates the food is healthy;
