With drone powered farming, agriculturists can get ahead of potential crop infestation by deploying physical and biological pest control methods.There is also the use of drones in chemical application and it ensures even distribution and human error is limited to a minimum.
Drone and data enabled agriculture also helps farmer monitor crop performance across a huge expanse of farm land and it ensures farmers take necessary actions and stepa as various situation arises as crop monitoring is a huge problem facing multitudes of large-scale farmers.
Drine technology is also used in determining the topography of the farmland and various other geo related information which is in turn used by the farmers in structuring and determining the layout of the farmland. From the information provided farmers can determine drainage method, irrigation system, planting pattern etc.
