Air pollution can only be effectively controlled by W.T.O. tariffs and U.N. resolutions. Tariffs added to environmentally harmful products are expected to be more successful than conventional methods because they directly negate benefits derived from unclean, low
cost production methods. These tariffs could resolve some issues related to environmental contamination. First, trade benefits from unclean industry would be lost. Further, the economic loss may motivate a nation to increase environmental standards in order to remove tariffs. This would benefit both the target nation’s economy and the global environment. The W.T.O. must impose tariffs on every polluting industry with the supporting government in order to remove the unfair trade effects of dirty industry and therefore protect the environment. The W.T.O. must create sanctions together with the U.N. for every polluting industry such that benefitting companies cannot trade efficiently in international markets. Every government must organize and completely support recycling companies. Polluting companies must install filters and governments must constantly control and measure pollution. Governments must minimize deforestation and regulate imbalances of carbon dioxide gas in order to prevent climate change.
I must examine and demonstrate, with the comparison of nations, differences between identical industries with similar products, for example, Chinese and Switzerland industries, in order to ascertain any economic benefits. By this I mean to find if China’s factories do not have high
quality air filtration, perhaps this is why the cost of products is cheaper than those of Switzerland. This investigation will provide me with the cost data that includes the cost of similar products among the nations again also indicating their compliance levels to the environmental standards. Another cost data will include the compliance costs among the organizations. The government must exercise responsibility for controlling factories. Firstly, I have to measure the scale of air pollution in all countries and analyze and compare which countries have higher pollution after realizing all information mentioned above, and I can then seek to prove my hypothesis.
In fact, Brazil is the leading nation in deforestation in the world, but India is the leading country for reforestation. The reforestation play main role for keeping balance in biosphere layer, for this reason, we should pay attention reforestation much more than before. Every government must organize and support recycling companies, and these companies should be free of all taxes, so then the number of recycling companies will increase, as a result, this will prevent pollution. The W.T.O and U.N should conduct an audit in each country every month, and this will increase the pressure on each country in regards to their environmental protection responsibility.
