As the world is moving towards cleaner energy, electric cars are becoming popular as the mode of transport. The major advantages of using electric cars is that it does not emit greenhouse gases which helps in curbing climate change. Furthermore it is cheaper to maintain and charge an electric car. The major disadvantages of an electric car are that it is currently expensive and take about 4 hours to charge. Once fully charged, it can cover a distance of about 100 to 200 miles per single charge. The main shortcoming of owning an electric car is that 4 hours of charging time is just too long. It is for this reason that I came up with an abstract idea that has a potential to eliminate the problem of charging.

As the electric car is moving, the wheels has kinetic energy. The wheels can be connected to the turbine. The kinetic energy can rotate the turbine which is attached to the generator. The generator or dynamo converts kinetic energy into electric energy. The electricity is  generated by the process of electromagnetic induction. The electricity being produced can be made to be charging the batteries of an electric car, this removes the problem of charging. 

This idea of self recharging electric cars can only work when two batteries are installed. When one battery is running the other one is charging. When the battery that is running finishes, the one that was charging takes over.
