Plastic waste is a menace not just in Africa but the world at large.From research it takes approximately 500-1000 years for plastic to disintegrate. Globally only a little percentage of plastic is been recycled and a large percentage of them end up in our oceans,landfills,drainages,and environment.with indiscriminate disposal of these waste some of these waste are been burnt indiscriminately and they emit green house gases which causes global warming and deplets the ozone layer.Both terrestrial and aquatic animal are been endangered by these waste as they are been mistaken as food.ivarest global was motivated to solve this global problem by converting these waste into sustainable building materials.
