Needle is little thing, it is major need of every house hold unfortunately people hesitate to invest this industry and this product is imported from abroad. To meet demands of Hajjis Saudi Arabia imports bulk amounts of prayer rosaries from other countries. During month of Ramadan millions of Date seeds are thrown away every day. Every seed can be converted to manufacturing of Rosary or Tasbih and this work is still being made somewhere by machine or by traditionally  or as an alive culture by prisoners in jails.

Huge amounts of Olive seeds are fall on grounds and then go waste in the amount of tons from hilly areas also Olive leave are being wasted after falling and drying. Value added fruit trees are protected by the people while the forest trees are usually known as useless. Conservations depend upon the importance of resources. To highlight importance of existing Olive resources, successful research and best practice on the turning forest waste to beneficial products has been carried out by us. More over another research on the turning solid waste such as plastic, tetra pack, and papers to beneficial products also completed.

We cannot meet the demands of Hajjis if we pluck Olive from all over the hills of country. This research has a best background of training facilitations, , marketing test and awareness. Tasbih or Rosary made from olive seeds is preferred by Muslims over all others since olive (and its tree) has been mentioned a number of times both in Quran and Hadith. For this reason, olive is considered a “blessed” fruit by them. Small-size olives, as raw material for the product, are found all over hilly areas of the country which are being wasted in huge amounts. If gathered in large quantity and utilized properly, we could produce Tasbihs to meet ever increasing demand of Hajjis. Hilly areas of Pakistan have more than 8 million trees of wild olive. 1 to 3 kg of olive fruit can be obtained from a single tree during the season.

One kg of fruit is needed to make 100 Tasbihs, each containing 100 beads. Instead of felling a tree and losing it forever, to sell its wood for Rupees 5000 to 6000, a farmer can earn Rupees 10,000 to 50,000 from it every year through its fruit.  He can also earn alternate money by the productivity of Olive leaves and branches products. Another area of waste reduction is through utilization of extremely large scale of empty plastic milk packets and bags which are thrown away every day. These can be utilized in the production of several items. Up-cycling is one process that can be helpful for reducing pollution. For creating more opportunities of employment, resolving land fill issues, exploration of plastic bag’s alternate, and conservation of olive trees besides other natural resources, also to promote healthy culture by discouraging trade of fake products, research on turning waste to beneficial products has been taken up by the author who has the requisite qualifications regarding training facilitation, marketing responses and awareness.
