About Solution

Aim of our project is to use waste biomass from agricultural, zootechnical and industrial activity to produce electrical and thermal energy for domestic and low power utilities with extremely low enviromental impact.

Thanks to pyrolitic gasification, Stirling engine and an advanced electronic control, BioGS is able to produce 1 kW of electrical power and about 5-6 kW of thermal power with a very low CO2, particulate matter and polutant emissions.

It is suitable for both grid and off-grid installations, can works alone or thoghether with other energy sources.

Thanks to biomass gasification, CO2 emission is reduced and most of carbon content of input material is discarged in solid form as biochar: a usefull soil improver.

Stirling engine lets to quietly produce electrical energy, thermal energy came from both Stirlingand exhaust gas cooling.

The BioGS let to transform a poor waste material into usefull energy with reduced eviromental impact. Input biomass can be wood, kernel or dry vegetable leavings in general in shape of pellet or micro-chips. Moreover we are testing also treated pig manure.

We trust that climate change needs, toghether with efforts on efficiency and consumpion reduction, energetic systems with a negative carbon balance that lets carbon segregation. BioGS will do that!
