In Nigeria today and other parts of the world, the population is on the increase. The growing population are in need of healthy, clean and affordable foods for their healthy living on a sustainable basis. One of such very important foods is organic animal protein.
Animal proteins ( catfish, chickens and eggs) are produced in large quantities and qualitatively on a sustainable basis organically. The production is an all inclusive type embracing both animal and crop farming.
Fruits, vegetables, herbal plants are compounded at the righ proportion and used as organic medications during the production processes of animal proteins ( catfish, chickens and eggs). This will eliminate the usage of chemical hormones, pesticides, vaccines and antibiotics. Often times, these chemical medications are present in the animal proteins at a dangerously high level most especially when there is no strict adherence to the chemical medications withdrawal period used to nurture the animals before they are processed for human consumption. The chemical medication residue in the animals has a negative health risks to the consumers of such animal proteins.
Fruits, vegetables and herbal plants are compounded into various food crops and used as feeds to grow these animals with the use of various technical machines and equipments
The production processes of the animal proteins involve many value chains which include but not limited to breeding, hatchery, grow-out, feed milling, processing and marketing.
The ultimate goals are to produce healthy and affordable animal proteins for the increasing human population on a sustainable basis, work towards zero hunger, creation of direct and indirect jobs, development of rural agriculture and community development.
