Organic waste to compost manure and recycling plastic

About Solution

With the release of carbon from the burning of wastes pushing the climate system into uncharted territory, which has major consequences for the functioning of the ozone layer. As a for us in Sierra Leone, most of the wastes are burnt after they have been disposed in dust bins after few days. Of which these wastes can be transformed and recycled into another useful products which can be used widely in the country without even importing them from another country. The organic wastes can be gathered by people are employ to do so, or the community members can do that to form rich in nutrient organic manure, which local farmers can use for their farming activities. The imported fertilizers are very expensive and can can act as pollutants, this idea might help the farmers in terms of spending more money on fertilizers and also will reduces the quantity at which these imported fertilizers pollute the environment.

If we use biodegradable wastes to make organic manure and recycle the inorganic wastes, it will reduces the amount of carbon that is released into the atmosphere. This solution will not only address  the challenge, but will also help the local farmers to use their natural resources in their farming processes.

This solution can also minimize the high rate of burning plastics. Most of the plastics burnt in my country is the water sachet plastics. This can be minimize or stop if the sachet water companies employ people to be collecting this plastics after they have been used that one will be a good way of reducing the burning of plastic in the environment the release of carbon into the atmosphere. The sachet plastics can be recycled after they have been collected by the people responsible and transformed into either another sachet or another useful plastic product instead of burning them. This idea can be more successful when we go to the rural people and explain to them the bad effects of burning and what it can result to, and also explain to them how this solution impact their lives.
