We want to make sustainable mobility choices simple. Today, there's no way to make informed car buying or mobility decisions when it comes to sustainability. Consumers can’t reliably review the environmental impact of car models, verify sustainability claims by manufacturers nor track project progress on carbon offset initiatives. With the advent of new forms of car ownership and mobility in general, there's an increased need to streamline how we track a car's history in a way that's reliable, interactive and simple.
We are creating an automotive ledger for automotive and mobility services that's sustainability-first. We use the existing information on supply chain, sustainability certifications and carbon offset initiatives by car manufacturers, and turn them into accessible, actionable and transparent dashboards for consumers. We want to improve awareness and education on the impact of mobility and increase the institutional capacity on climate change mitigation by making the sustainability record of each car transparent and actionable.
“You can’t change what you don’t know” – Our product can help integrate climate change measures into national policies, strategies, and planning by offering enhanced cooperation and capacity-between car manufacturers and governments. With car manufacturers announcing almost fully-recyclable car models and new forms of mobility, we want to expand our ledger system to help track the use of car parts and recycling efforts to help reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
Since car manufacturers have now global supply chains, it is important to integrate sustainable development. That's a quick way to achieve the sustainable development goals in countries, particularly developing countries where an increasing number of manufacturers are now producing.
