My solution adresses the problem of improper waste disposal in my local community and puts these wastes to good use through recycling. I and my team take up these wastes, and recycle them into beautiful interlocking blocks. water ways and the ocean at large suffer the practices of improper plastic waste disposal. we also ensure effective waste collection, we run a TRASH FOR CASH SCHEME for secondry school students who cannot afford to pay their fees. we give out stipends to these kids in exchange for their collected plastic wastes.This makes the job inclusive on a wider scale. As environmental vanguards, we sesitize the public by giving out seminars and placing waste bins in public places such as banking halls, schools, and markets. All these are achieved by local means and recycling without proper machies can be very harmful because of the degree of heating involved. We hope for better days when we can recycle these accumulated wastes and produce more interlocking blocks. All the prices of cement made interlocking blocks are expensive comapred to that of plastic made ones. over the years the cement interlocks wear out quickly but that of plasic make last longer. These and many more are what we plan to achieve.
