This solution solves three problems simultaneously. 1. We get plastic waste out of the environment. 2. Designating the collection of the waste for weighing and payment, eradicates poverty and it put millions of youths to work in Nigeria. 3. Converting the waste plastic pallets derived from setting the waste into much needed pavement bricks,building blocks,road pavement curbs,roof tiles and other plastic materials will create an industry that should be supported by the government, international community and the entire world in seeing plastics off the bellies of our marine mammals,fishes and saving the earth. This solution will help the earth heal itself as it has always done before the climate changes continuous slow process of the earth healing itself. The plastic damage to the environemnet is more pronounced in Nigeria than anywhere in the world and the people and government is merely paying lip service to finding solutions to it. I believe that our innovative solution will get students,children,churches,ngos,communities all begging to join a drive to pick up plastic waste and submit it for recycling. I will love to see plastic recycling clubs in schools, colleges and universities becoming the group that drives this industry. It is a win win situation for everyone and most especially, earth will be thankful. Support, mentorship and financial support is what is holding this innovation. I seek it from this organization and we can replicate this pilot program all over africa
