Dorabot's Recycling Robot can identify and sort different types of reusable and recyclable waste such as plastic bottles, glass bottles, paper, cartons, and aluminum cans. The robot uses deep learning-based computer vision and dynamic planning to select items on a moving conveyor belt. It also includes customized and erosion resistant grippers to pick irregularly shaped objects, resulting in a cost-effective integrated solution.

Improving the recycling rate can not only reduce pollution and contamination caused by the waste, but also help more waste from one industrial process become input into another. As a result, it can greatly contribute to the climate mitigation and circular economy.

Now, our international R&D international team is also working on new technologies and solutions to sort all kinds of reusable and recyclable waste more efficiently to comply with the market demand and support countries of any stage of development.
