* Problem statement
1- Waste Percentage per day in Khartoum State in 2013 for plant leaves is 70.92 tons/day, animal manure tons per day in Khartoum is 576.24 tons,Omer AM, (2018).we can treatment this a big mount of Agricultural waste and animal manure in Khartoum in useful cultivation by recycling them in MUSHROOM CULTIVATION.
2- The data indicated that 70.3% percentage of the poor women live in Khartoum state and studies suggested that the number of families how need support in Khartoum state is around 39662 families.
3-introduction and growing of mushrooms as vegetable crop oneof new crops to alleviate this poverty and to mitigate this food gap. Badr A, (2005).
* The innovation idea:
recycling Agricultural waste and animal manure to produce mushrooms and then recycling mushroom residues to produce compost or animals feed
* Value propositions
1- Mushrooms provide high protein, essential amino acids and high fiber content. They also provide vitamins thus stimulating the immune system Abdalla, (2015). low in cholesterol and sodium, good source of iron, potassium, and phosphorous. Teng,(2008)
2- The remainder of the oyster mushroom production can be used in the diet of cattle and sheep where fodder is well contains a high percentage of protein
3- Source of foreign exchange when exported abroad.
4- Mushrooms can be cultivated year round for that mushroom solves the seasonality in agricultural production.
5- Mushroom has a short recycling period of capital
6- Mushroom solve land limitation it requires relatively little space.
7- Social impact by generating income and employment for women, youths and disability people.
