A great percentage about 70 percent of the Ugandan's green cover has been destroyed due to human activities like farming. At save the nature, We are going to encourage a Sustainable agriculture & forest management.
We are going to establish a forest of trees on 10 hectares of land in Kayunga district in central Uganda since in this region, much of the forest cover has been cleared for Commercial farming but save the nature will plant a forest to replace 50 percent of the lost plant cover.
We are going to encourage farmers to plant trees at the end of their plots of land. We are establishing a nursery bed of seedlings of various species of trees that we will give to farmer's to plant alongside their plots of land. We are going to be encouraging better use of natural resources, stopping massive deforestation as well as making agriculture greener and more efficient should also be a priority.
After a forest in Kayunga district, save the nature campaign will be moving to northern part of Uganda .our mission is make Uganda green and restore its prestige. We want it to be ever green and be called the pearl of AFrica again with no drought.
