We lose over 108 billion US dollars from unemployment in Nigeria , there's less awareness of the dangers of climate change and over 40 million people are diagnosed annually for climate related illnesses in which over 4 billion US dollars are sunk.
Our research is focused on Anambra state, one of the 36 states in Nigeria with a population of about 9 miliion people. Over 20 tons of plastic waste is generated daily and finally heads to the streams, rivers (River Niger greatly) from there to the seas. The plastic pollution to the waters and the emissions from the burning of plastics is not peculiar to a community hence, the need to include all states in the solution.
We plan to collect this plastic waste, melt them by the use of heat (not fire flame and not electricity) in an environmental friendly tank that rolls the melted plastics into huge plastic balls. These plastic balls are packaged for sale to factories that shall recycle them for reuse.
In this way, the plastics in the streams, rivers and seas are reduced creating a cleaner environment.
We intend to implement this system in the whole country but starting with Anambra state of Nigeria .
We shall work with agencies and other organizations interested in cleaning the environment and other ventures. Dumpsites for plastics are to be created at every 3 kilometers interval apart to enable improved colation. There shall be one central yard for the melting of all the plastics collated. The melting tank can melt over 2 tons of plastic in one round that lasts for about 2 hours. So, for a shift of 9 hours daily, 18 tons of melted plastic is produced.
The produced rolled plastics are billed to be exported. There is high demand of this product. The export and local sales of the product guarantees it's sustainability apart from creating massive employments , it also increases the National GDP. Expertriates are employed in the venture enhancing our national reputation in the international community and expands our business horizon.
It's sustainability allows excess funds therefrom to be reinvested.
The hitherto lost billion US dollars annual income as a result of unemployment is regained by the establishment of this plastic melting system.
There is a guaranteed down ward turn in the health indexes of health globally as a result of this venture.
The computer programming for this venture is being negotiated at the moment.
