I am much passionate about the challenges facing the youths in Ghana and its aftermath. Issues like lack of education and employment have been the headache of the youths in Ghana, especially youths in the rural areas. These problems if not well curbed will result in major other problems like theft, teenage pregnancy, suicide, rural-urban migration etc. These problems are also likely to put much pressure on the government and also create reasons for illegal migration among the youths since they are not assured of securing a job for themselves in the country.
Another reason why I am passionate about our activities is that, we are creating a platform which will help promote the African product and also create culture diversity.Most of our trainings is on handicrafts production. Our trainings does not require much capital so it makes it easier for the youth in the rural areas and youth who are financially handicap be able to do it without needing much resources.We are currently working on an app which will be used to sell the product online and the rural folks will not need to travel to the urban area to sell their product but rather we will go for them from the rural area when the products have been produced after which we will update them on our website to sell. The app will not need any use of internet since most people in the rural area do not have access to the internet. We will give them a code which they can send us a message to indicate that they are done with production. With this, the rural folks will stay in the rural area and will not move to the urban area in search of job.
