About Solution

Think about how many times a day you use water. You drink water, you shower, you flash the toilet, you wash your hands, you run the dishwasher, you brush your teeth, and you run the washing the machine
the list goes on and on....

On average, each of us uses a round 50 Litters of water a day-and we know that the water we use is clean & safe! But it isn’t like this everywhere in the World. Imagine you had to go to a water point and carry the water home for several miles. And you had to do this several times a day. Or you have to walk to a River to get the water
And you can’t be even be sure the water is clean. You need water for yourself, your family, your animals and plants and you need to know it won’t make you sick. These are the people that NoPReF wants you to Help. Support for Clean water and Help Kids in Ethiopia’s Somali Region State! Ethiopia is a poor country with a difficult climate. Many people are farmers and rely on animals-Goats, Cattle & Camels-Mainly for a living. Most of the year the country is very dry, with little rain, and water sources are few and far between. Water is therefore is very precious
and it is all the more important that the water is clean.

Families in many parts of Ethiopia-particularly Somali Region
Do not have enough clean & safe water for drinking, washing their hands or cooking. Women and girls often have to walk for miles every day to carry water from the sources in Jerry-can, but the water is often still dirty. Many Children and their families get sick from drinking the dirty Water or from not having enough water to drink at all!

The program will improve the health of 4500 beneficiaries through hygiene and sanitation training. In order to have the greatest impact on human health, the program team will implement the following activities to improve safe water at the household level through Rehabilitation of existing water points in hard to reach rural communities.
