Food security is increasingly a much debated subject all over the world. The world is looking at innovations that will make this mammoth task achievable. While we acknowledge inequalities that exist in the entire globe, we should also acknowledge that food costs are reaching rocket heights. These trends leave underdeveloped and developing nation with little options regarding food security. We are aware the unemployment trend that Zambia is currently, T&D Company proudly pronounce that it will employee among them women and youth to work in various departments. This why the proprietor Mr. Dennis has applied for a grant/loan from Mohammed bin Rashid initiative to facilitate the initiative of an integrated poultry and fish industry that will be involved in production, processing and packaging.who are jobless, and they will be employed by this venture to earn incomes. The venture will also contribute to increased food security, encourage the utilization of locally available resources through agricultural production and creation of a business linkage with other businesses to contribute to building strong economy in the country by 2030.
The business has a greater hope of processing fish reared by itself and that produced by other fish farmers in Zambia. This anthe initiative developed to provide for food security, contribute to poverty alleviation and job creation among hardest hit people living in abject poverty especially the women and the youth in the country to cushion these people in the local communities against the devastating effects approaching climate change in the district and nation or the world at large. One of the known effects of climate change is that food prices will continue to escalate as the globe gets warmer and warmer. The food production will become negatively affected by flash floods, droughts and other disasters.This,however,is an opportunity for this business to exploit the hard conditions imposed by climate change and make money for high food prices.
