The ultimate key

About Solution

My solution is more towards limiting the risks that contribute to climate change in our world.

The first challenge is to stop the burning of fossil fuels, like coal and oils. Coals are essential electrical energy prerequisites in quite a number of developed countries. It's use can not totally be made extinct. We must consider alternatives to coal when that option seems viable, for instance, we can resort to using plant derived-plastics, biodiesel, wind-power, and to invest in the change, be it by divesting from oi stocks or investing in companies practicing carbon capture and storage. We need renewable gas for industrial burners< ethanol derived from crops and hydrogen hydrolyzed out of water can be suitable replacement if advances and research are channeled towards these.

A second challenge is an upgrade in the infrastructure of companies. Major companies worldwide contribute a large percentage to greenhouse emissions of gas. Investing in newer infrastructures would help limit the greenhouse emissions. For example cement producing companies can use alternative fuels to fire up their kiln, newer energy efficient buildings can be built and these would reduce the greenhouse gas emissions.

Jets and planes contribute a large chunk to greenhouse gas emissions and invariably to global warming and climate change. Electric trains can be introduced for short distance travels in place of jets and flying should be restricted to only long distance travels. Hydrogen could be added to air-fuel mix for a more complete combustion of the fuel.

Efficiency is key to reducing greenhouse gas emission we face. We purchase vehicles with minimal gas emissions and requirement, such as electric cars. We buy less or buy in bulk so the rate of production of the materials involved is reduced, hence, reducing the need for expending fossil fuels towards production.

We need to stop cutting down trees. Timber production contributes a lot of gasses such as carbon to the atmosphere. Improved agricultural practice alongside the recycling of papers and proper regulation of the wood taken out with the new trees growing would limit the greenhouse gas emissions.

Purchasing energy efficient gadgets limit the greenhouse gas emissions. Efficient battery chargers could save more than one billion kilowatt-hours of electricity and thus prevent the release of quite a number of metric tons of greenhouse gases.

Solar cooling can be introduced in buildings. Cooling and heating is powered majorly by thermal solar energy. It is cost effective and contributes a reduction in carbon dioxide emission.
