The challenge innovation for inclusive trade I believe is aimed at developing an entrepreneurial idea that will both benefit the society at the same time create income .
The idea of transforming trash to cash is all about creating a system that best suits the economy ( Nigeria) , where people are encouraged to dispose trash in a manner that it creates income in considerate of the cost . And also awareness is created as to the need to maintain a clean environment and reduce air , soil and water pollution.
The system will be such that trash is collected is and segregated according to type, glass , paper, plastic , textile , organic matter and items like batteries etc. By the public and sold to the collector for a token . The collector now sorts , processes, cleans and further produces New products from the recyclable materials. At the end of the process the society , economy and collectors all benefit monetarily, economically , and most importantly a cleaner environment is achieved.
