Our solution has a plan to implement a renewable energy sources , by vigorous promote the use of solar powered energy and also encourage investment in wind driven power generation system at an affordable housing level system. This can be done by building stations in smaller units according to population density and economic activity of the area. Most people in high density urban areas can be supplied with some solar powered energy developed just for a particular community and provided at subsidised amount at the time of construction. This can make it affordable for poor communities who could be made to pay maintenance fees only sustainable for running the system. As much as investment in power plants is big business, the poor mostly are unable to buy enough to meet there energy needs. These should sound as a bell to energy investors, that even if they don't support the lowered fees these people will not come to their market and they will continue to destroy the environment in which all people regardless of there status depends.
Rural communities are the most important in this project because they supply the tree products for economic gain and also they use the same for there energy. To cut this chain this group of people should not only be provided for with energy sources but also empowered with economic support projects such as fish farming, animal husbandry and chicken rearing. In so doing the village will protect its environment and not allow deforestation.
With knowledge of the farming activities as one of those causing deforestation, we are engaged in fields tree planting. This we encourage farmers to plant two lines of trees along the field length divided per hectare and two lines at each end.
Waste management has been a thorn in the world and heavily contribute to climate change. This is because as man increased economic activities, certain materials proved to be difficult to dispose. materials that are not biodegradable have been allowed to be disposed anyhow.
Having seen this as a huge challenge we intend to build store yards for these materials in industrial site to allow easy collection to companies for recycling and proper disposal. In so doing the community will have a sense of responsibility to manage a clean environment.
Companies that runs manufacturing business will be engaged to participate in the recycling centers.
With support from stakeholders this can go along way in reducing causes of climate change.
