Use of old tins, sacs tyres, and so on with addition of organic manure will ensure that each household has enough food thought the year as this doesn't not depend on seasons as long as the owner irrigates using cans. On the other the other hand the reuse of the plastics and polythene helps in reducing land degradation.

If each household uses their courtyard for this cause, food security will be achieved and there will be surplus for the market.

A number of crops can be grown including vegetables, root tubers, bulbs that do not require alot of space for canopies.

The soil is nourished with manure after a given periods of time depending on the type of manure being used.

Housing engineers should also start designing houses with rooftops that can be used for farming, where soil can be filled in tins, sucks or even laid on the rooftop and vegetables be grown there.

There we shall have space for residence as well as gardens for our crops.

A zero grazing system can be very supportive of the crop system for big livestock, whereas birds can equally be kept under a net system where they graze. This can be a very good source of food, income and manure.
