In an urban set up where space is of great importance, my solution will address the challenge of food shortage. The solution also uses available materials like plastic containers being recycled instead of disposing hence conserving the environment. It utilizes the limited space in the urban set up. There has been a challenge of getting clean food in our towns and cities. This solution ensures that the food safety is guaranteed since it is done in a controlled environment. Food prices have also been rising every now and then. In the long run there will be cost cutting in the food budget for urban dwellers where food usually takes the highest percentage of disposable income. This solution will also have a positive impact on the health of urban dwellers since food safety is observed and controlled hence reduced health issues brought about by unhygienic food supplies in urban centers. Each family in the urban set up will be encouraged to use this solution which will ensure sustainable and healthy food for all. This solution is easy to set up and maintain since it uses available resources and little space in the urban set up.
