A circular economy would most importantly require and efficient collection system where materials are recovered in an uncontaminated form. We achieve this through the introduction of our Patented 'Smart Bin' and a mobile application interface which is explained in the Youtube video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsNpsImzPgg&t=21s. The Bin will be a central collection point where consumers can dispose their recyclables and get rewarded from the point. The mobile application core function is to allow consumers to locate Smart Bins in their area and to collect and redeem their user points (called 'Kijani Coins', swahili for Green Coins)is meant to be a map guidance to help consumers find Smart Bins in their area and to monitor and redeem their rewards.The Bin is Smart enough to notify collectors that it needs to be emptied. Users who wish to earn more Kijani Coins can sign up as collectors on the mobile application. Collectors take contents from the Smart Bin and take it to an even larger Sorting Bin system where waste is sorted into different cotegories.
