About Solution

The challenge seeks to address the rural access to markets problem.

The major problem with rural traders is mostly on logistics (both financial and transportation) and negotiation of the best prices for their products.

The market is not usually controlled by seasons, capacity, or even logistics. It's mostly dictated by brokers who set their own prices. Thus, the rural trader, doesn't get the best return on their investment.

By setting up a seamless method, through structuring and scaling of trade. By:

1. Identifying the traders. (Geographics,regions,demographics)

2. Assessing their financial capacity.

3. Assessing their level of production, quality, storage and operations. (Ability to produce)

4. Providing a consistent export and local market where they benefit profitably. Both digitally(local) and offline(export).

5. Providing training solutions where needed. Especially on matters of quality.

After careful identification of rural traders, we will need to create a digital platform where local vendors and buyers are able to order and pre order items according to what is available This is subject to seasons and ready stock.

For exports it can also be done digitally across countries and across continents.

But bottom line is, inclusive trade needs to be considerate and profitable for the rural trader.
