Girls tech gap is an initiative designed to bridge the economic gender gap through technology transfer policies reform and career path development. We are a passionate community with a goal to train & Mentor 1 Million Female ICT experts across Africa with the sole aim of attaining workforce parity.
It is a female software entrepreneurship platform targeted at young women who are interested in earning a career in ICT. It is a unique environment where female entrepreneurs, creators, andinnovators can quickly develop new services, products, and societal infrastructure.
This project provides a networking opportunity for mentorship programme that ensures participant’s raw talent(Ideas) are translated into marketable products that can compete globally. We have seen from experience that there are lots of people and organizations interested in the application of technology to solve local problems and our goal is to continue to unearth such individuals/companies and to support them to bring their ideas/products to life.
