Glitovine development initiative (GDI) is a social impact driven organisation developed to facilitate human capital development through capital formation project, specifically, through a project initiative called, Human Capital Acceleration Initiative (HCAI), in order to engender sustainable development in Africa. The project targets empowerment of youths of less privileged families, IDPs and disadvantaged communities that lack the needed means of self-sustenance to improve their standard of living. We believe that the Livelihood of less privileged people and disadvantaged communities can be rapidly improved when they are trained on Agriculture, Tailoring, ICT and many other fields. Through this project, less privileged youth from IDP camps and less privileged communities will be empowered through skill acquisition training program that will help skill them up in a line of business and entrepreneurial activities. This project also focuses on ensuring the empowerment of students and recent graduates of tertiary institutions through Internship programs through partnership with organisations and tertiary institutions, the internship is a support system created to enable the students gain practical learning experience outside the classroom and acquire professional experience that will enable them gain the needed practical experiences to enhance their CV, expand their horizon, network of contacts and become equipped with the needed technical knowhow to meet up with modern career demands and enable African nations reduce unemployment and underemployment.
HCAI project is aligned to goal 8 and 9 of SDGs which is "Decent work and economic growth" and "Industry, innovation & infrastructures" respectively, and encourages innovation and capital formation through Internship and Entrepreneurship programs and scholarship to engage and develop African youths to facilitate innovation, productivity and sustainable development in Africa.
