As-Salaam-Alaikum! Good Afternoon Sir! I am very glad to be back in the 4th and Final Challenge Sustainable Cities. I am Sandy Bacarro Orencia from Philippines. In this challenge is about How can Cities leverage technology to reduce the spread of infectious diseases and prevent the next pandemic?
Our World is changing rapidly. PEOPLE ARE CHANGING THE WAY THEY WANT TO WORK and interact with one another. New Technology can reduce spreading of infectious disease and can prevent the next pandemic. With the help of latest technology it can minimize or even stop this disease. The days when everyone in a company worked in the company’s physical location are going away. Today, many businesses need to develop new ways to support employees when they are outside of the office or telecommuting. The technology needs to support letting employees conduct business from their telephones, smart phone, computers, laptop including checking email via internet, Call Center communicating and marketing with customers. You don’t need your physical appearance to submit your report from your boss, you can submit via fax or email. You don’t need to go to the mall to buy ticket for your flight, instead booking your ticket via smart phone and pay it through your online banking.
When a business leverages technology, that digital transformation will make fundamental changes in the way it conducts every aspect of its business and can achieve that change by leveraging the technologies that are being introduced at an increasing rate.
In today’s World there are many incurable disease that has been spread in different Countries. With the help of latest technology people will not go to that Country that has infected by the Virus instead they can use latest technology to communicate through Telephone, Internet, smart Phone to prevent from Pandemic.
