Technical description of the device
A compact device, which works in conjunction with smartphones, and allows for fast, affordable, and highly accurate medical analyses of an assortment of integral biological
indices. The device is suitable for personal use, and provides accurate measurements
regardless of environmental variants. One of the most prominent and common issue with
the use of traditional mobile personal analysis devices is the tendency for operators to misuse these devices; an issue that has been specifically tackled with the design of this new device in order to reduce its frequency to a minimum. The device works in tandem with a special smartphone application: When first used, the program requires the patient to fill in an elaborate medical form with regards to their daily habits, regular diet, and potential genetic diseases and syndromes they might suffer from. Following the submission of this form, the device then sets up a personalized, complete
suggested set of necessary tests based on its database. The devices employs a set of A.I. principles in the processes of reading the custom chips, analyzing chemical reactions and determining results. The device is potentially capable of performing all medical tests which rely on dry chemistry.
Known regular issues with the current technology
The absence of effective, supporting observations and inputs for building a correct clinical narrative, which a medical practitioner can rely on when diagnosing llnesses, and describing the development of symptoms.
The lack of medical equipment which can perform “unique tests” analogous with the medical care of patients suffering from chronic illnesses, pregnant women, and people enforced with special diets, as well as the continuous monitoring of their conditions and physical responses.
The emergence of modern mobile devices specialized in the performance of specific tests, or the analysis of a singular factor, which work mechanisms demand specific environmental factors in order to offer precise results.
The escalation of symptoms, the evolution of diseases, and the exacerbated spread of epidemics at a faster rate than the performance speed of traditional testing methods especially within the inhabitants of remote, isolated areas
